- Class topics include color and design, tapestry techniques, troubleshooting and finishing

The Workshop
The Tapestry Weaving Workshop (featuring the NEW Friendship Loom)
An inexpensive way to
experience tapestry weaving. Students will receive instruction
in the areas of
- warping methods
- tapestry techniques
- problem solving
- design and history of tapestry weaving
- finishing
methods
The
group will focus on technique and explore ideas for more innovative designs.

The Instructor
Lynne Oakes has more than 30
years of exemplary experience as a teacher and tapestry weaver. She has a Masters degree in Art education with a concentration
in textiles. Lynne's high enthusiasm and warm manner have made her a very popular instructor. Students leave motivated
and excited about exploring tapestry weaving.
