The Workshop
The Tapestry Weaving Workshop (featuring the NEW Acorn
Loom)
An inexpensive way to experience tapestry weaving.
Students will receive instruction in the areas of
- warping methods
- tapestry techniques
- problem solving
- design and history
of tapestry weaving
- finishing methods
The group will focus on technique and explore ideas for more innovative designs.

The Instructor
Lynne Oakes has more than 30 years of exemplary experience as a teacher and tapestry weaver.
She has a Masters degree in Art education with a concentration in textiles. Lynne's high enthusiasm and warm manner have
made her a very popular instructor. Students leave motivated and excited about exploring tapestry weaving.
